Developing Student ministry in Poland and beyond

Students are strategic! They are full of potential. They are young, open to God, and willing to die for a cause. We believe that college students are the keys to Poland's revival. These young people will become the leaders in the church and the nation.

They will be:

In 2011-2012, there were five cities with Pentecostal student ministry in Poland.  None of these groups have full-time leaders who devote all of their energy and resources to reaching students. We hope to combine what we learned about student ministry in Wyoming with our Polish counterparts to develop an effective model of reaching and equipping students in Poland.

 We want to:

History has shown that students are available and willing to follow God to the ends of the earth. Five students were part of the weekly prayer meeting in Williams, Massachusetts and hid under a haystack to pray during a thunderstorm. This became known as the "Haystack Revival" and lead to the Student Volunteer Movement which saw 20,000 students go into world missions in 50 years.

The name of our campus ministry in America was Chi Alpha. In other parts of the world it is known as Students for Christ and in Poland they call themselves Petra. These sister organizations exist for the purpose of reaching and equipping students to change their world for Jesus.

We believe that now is the time for student ministry in Poland. A generation of students is looking for answers and they are not finding what they need in capitalism and materialism. What they need is Jesus. That is who we have to offer.
